June Green Bag Day!

We didn't let the rain stop us from having a great time eating Hamburgers & Hot Dogs at this year's BBQ Many thanks to Bryan for hosting again.

Rock the Nest Fest 2026

Bryan, Dale & Laurie manned the table/booth at this year's Rock the Nest Fest.

Gave away Native Plants, helped kids plant seeds and signed up new donors for the Green Bag program

February Green Bag Deliveries

On Valentines Day the crew of the PNW Green Bag Food Project picked up a record (for a February pickup) of 2,485 pounds of food to the Ferndale Food Bank. We continue to grow in both number of wonderful Ferndale community donors and the amount of food contributed. Many thanks to our dedicated Neighborhood Coordinators - aka pickup drivers - for donating their time on a Saturday morning every other month to help our friends & neighbors in the greater area.

Jake Smith

It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of Jake Smith. Jake was a founding member of Rotary Club of Whatcom County North (now RC of Ferndale) and was a very active member of our club until recently when his health wouldn't allow. He will be missed.

December 2025 Deliveries to Ferndale Food Bank

December 2025 the Rotary Club of Ferndale delivered a record 2778 pounds of non perishable food to the Ferndale Food Bank.

Add to that the 1090 pounds that the Cub Scouts delivered in November that makes for a Grand Total of 3868 pounds!!!
